RENOLIT CHUCK PASTE was developed exclusively for the lubrication of chucks. Machine tool chucks have very specific requirements from a lubricant which must lubricate under high static and dynamic load, with only small movement, and be resistant to cutting fluids and wash-off. Correct lubrication increases the chuck efficiency as a greater proportion of the input torque results in clamping force – this prevents slackening and possible loss of the workpiece. Most chuck manufacturers recommend weekly lubrication via a grease gun.
